Wil is a Principal Architect on the Internet of Things team within the Office of the CTO at Kaiser Permanente. His team is tasked with defining the reference architecture, identifying technology standards and quantifying service cost models for Strategic Technologies, such as IoT, RTLS and Chatbots and Virtual Assistants, among others. Wil’s particular focus is on defining the technology strategy for Chatbots and Virtual Assistants to enable new experiences for members and optimize workforce productivity. A fan of Human Centered Design, Wil understands the impact that technology has on the human condition, and spends a good portion of his time in the field to better understand operational challenges and ID opportunities where Strategic Technologies can help. Mr. Orinion graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in MIS/Finance, and earned an MBA from USC.
