Ashley Huynh is in an elite class of HR experts, as one of the few HR consultants that is a currently licensed CA attorney and dual certified in human resources. She balances both her legal and business expertise from her 20 years as a business leader, including leading her own start-up. She has experience leading global human resources and managing multiple international and domestic sites for Fortune 100 companies and start-up to mid-sized businesses, including the role of Interim Head of Human Resources for the second largest tile distributor in the U.S. Prior to founding BEDR, Inc., Ashley was the Director of Human Resources for Guidance Software. In her role prior to Guidance Software, Ashley was Head of HR for 3M Cogent, a 3M global subsidiary with multiple sites in the US and internationally. Ashley has expertise in acquisition integration, site closures and integrations, as well as talent acquisition in a difficult recruitment market, doubling the size of Trillium Digital Systems (an Intel acquisition) and spearheading recruitment for a new Bangalore, India office. She is highly skilled in the full range of human resources consulting including HR audits, workplace investigations (including sexual harassment, violence prevention, and employee theft), performance management, employment law compliance, employee and management training, workforce reductions, representation at unemployment hearings, employee handbook/policy development, and HRIS implementations.

Ashley has earned her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, and is a licensed California attorney. Her experience includes an externship for an administrative law judge at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) where she reviewed cases files and prepared legal summaries on Title VII discrimination complaints. In addition, Ashley has received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in Business Administration from UCLA and holds two of the most recognized HR credentials, PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
